Hypnosis is an altered state of consciousness where the subconscious level of the mind is in a state of hyper-suggestibility. Under a hypnotic trance, you are not asleep, you are relaxed and able to focus clearly and answer questions. 

Trance is a natural state and we experience it in every day in various forms. For example, have you ever driven home and not remembered how you got there? or lost yourself in a good book and lost track of time?

Part of your mind remains alert and you are in charge the whole time, and you are in control of what you say at all times. All hypnosis is self hypnosis.

I was trained in hypnotism at the Northwest Hypnosis Institute. I am a Certified Member of the National Guild of Hypnotists and I complete annual continuing education to maintain high level training. The National Guild of Hypnotists is the oldest and largest hypnotism organization in the world and its certification is the most widely recognized credential for the professional practice of the hypnotic arts. Additionally, I have a B.S. in Business Administration and Marketing from University of Phoenix. I have received Reiki Master Certification through Natural Healer as well as certified as a Life Coach, Diet Life Coach from Transformation Learning.
